OpTech client software

OpTech jobs consist of a variety of source code files, data files, configuration files, and the other familiar elements that would be expected in an opinion research system. These OpTech job components are created and managed via a series of Windows- and browser-based tools; these tools run on client systems (as opposed to OpTech/Server software, which runs on the server).

OpTech client tools are used by the analysts, technicians, managers, and end-users who work with OpTech jobs and their components. The tools include:

• OpTech/Vantage: for creating and managing jobs
• OpTech/Vista: for working with tab specs
• OpTech/QEdit: for working with questionnaires
• OpTech/e-Crosstab: for end-user analysis
• OpTech/Explorer: for working with OpTech application components
• OpTech/Reference: for displaying syntax and other reference material
• OpTech/Monitor: for production job monitoring
